DESCRIPTION:Term 3: Mon 20th July – Sun 27th September 2026 (10 weeks)\nClass Details:\nThe Tai Chi for Arthritis Program instructed at AOWA was developed in 1997 by Dr Paul Lam in collaboration with Tai Chi and medical experts. It is specifically designed for people with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions\, using gentle\, flowing movements to improve strength\, mobility\, and overall wellbeing. Classes are delivered in a relaxed and social setting\, making them both enjoyable and accessible to people of all fitness levels.  \nResearch shows that Tai Chi helps build muscular strength to support and protect the joints\, increases flexibility and mobility to reduce stiffness and pain\, and improves balance by focusing on safe weight transference.
