He is ranked as the leading expert in the world on osteoarthritis on expertscape.com\, is the section editor for UpToDate osteoarthritis\, the co-Editor in Chief for Osteoarthritis and Cartilage\, and has over 700 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He leads the osteoarthritis team at the Kolling Institute who are dedicated to improving our understanding of osteoarthritis and the quality of life for those who suffer from this prevalent disabling disease. \n\nEvent Overview\nOsteoarthritis (OA) affects more than 600 million people worldwide and remains a leading cause of pain\, disability\, and joint replacement. Despite its prevalence\, many patients continue to receive fragmented or low-value care\, while proven\, evidence-based interventions remain underutilised. \nThis online education session\, presented by Professor David Hunter\, will provide an up-to-date clinical overview of osteoarthritis management. The session will focus on optimising core treatments such as education\, exercise therapy\, weight management\, and psychologically informed care\, while also exploring emerging innovations shaping the future of OA treatment.
