SUMMARY:Tai Chi for Arthritis & Osteoporosis Beginner Level 1 - Wednesdays 12:15pm Mundaring
DESCRIPTION:Term 2: Mon 20th April – Sun 5th July 2026 (11 weeks)\nClass Details:\n\nThe Tai Chi for Arthritis Program was developed in 1997 by Dr Paul Lam in collaboration with Tai Chi and medical experts. It is specifically designed for people with arthritis and related musculoskeletal conditions\, using gentle\, flowing movements to improve strength\, mobility\, and overall wellbeing. Classes are delivered in a relaxed and social setting\, making them both enjoyable and accessible to people of all fitness levels.  \nResearch shows that Tai Chi helps build muscular strength to support and protect the joints\, increases flexibility and mobility to reduce stiffness and pain\, and improves balance by focusing on safe weight transference. These benefits reduce the risk of falls and support greater independence.
