DESCRIPTION:Saturday 23 May 2026 | Point Walter Recreation and Conference Centre\nDesigned specifically for diagnosed children (7-17 years old) with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA)\, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS)\, Hypermobility\, and other Musculoskeletal Conditions. \nArthritis & Osteoporosis WA\, supported by Western Kids Health\, invite you and your family to our Family Fun Day packed with connection\, creativity\, and plenty of fun. Come along to catch up with friends from camp\, meet new families\, and enjoy exciting activities for all ages in a welcoming\, family-friendly setting. \n\nAbout the Event:\n\nMeet or reconnect with other kids with arthritis – You’re not alone!\nParticipate in fun activities & games\nParents\, learn about your child’s condition from Rheumatologists\, Nurses & Allied Health Professionals – including a panel discussion\n\n\nActivities Include:\n\n\nGames\nActivities\nArt Show (see below)\nAnd more…\n\n\nArt Show & Exhibition\nThe day will feature an optional display of artwork from participants\, with siblings also welcome to submit artwork. \nTheme: SEEN\nWhat makes you feel seen? Who makes you feel seen? What do you think people see when they look at you—and what do you wish they’d see? \nAll mediums are accepted\, including photography. \nArtwork must be submitted to AOWA (Reception) or Western Kids Health by 5pm on 15/5/26. For further details contact David Smith on 9388 2199. \nWestern Kids Health will also run a two-hour school holiday session for young people to work on their creations. Please contact them for details on 6112 2977. \nAll attendees (kids and parents) can vote for their favourite artworks\, with prizes awarded. \n\nWhat’s Provided?\n\nAll Activities\nLunch and afternoon tea and refreshments\n\n\nWho Can Attend?\nParents/guardians and siblings welcomed.
