This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others\, gain valuable insights\, and hear from expert speakers in the field of arthritis and rheumatic conditions management. \n\nEvent Details:\n\n\nLocation: Royal Park Hall (180 Charles St\, West Perth\, WA 6005)\nDate: Saturday\, May 10\, 2025\nTime: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM\nContribution: $10\n\nEvent Highlights:\n🔹 Education Session: Learn from expert speakers about managing chronic rheumatic conditions and improving quality of life.\n🔹 Escape Room Challenge: Team up with fellow attendees for a fun and interactive escape room experience.\n🔹 Dinner: Enjoy a relaxed meal (dinner only)\, providing a great opportunity to connect and share experiences. \n  \n  \n\nMeet Our Speakers:\n \nDr. Joe Kosterich \nDr. Joe Kosterich is a highly regarded General Practitioner with extensive experience in clinical practice and health education. With a strong focus on chronic disease management\, he has worked across various healthcare sectors\, gaining deep expertise in arthritis care. \nAs the recently appointed Vice President and Board Member of Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA\, Dr. Joe is dedicated to advocating for better health outcomes\, research\, and education in the field of arthritis. He actively contributes to policy discussions and medical publications\, ensuring that healthcare professionals are equipped with the best strategies to enhance patient quality of life. \n  \n  \n  \nDr Krista Makin \nShe graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Newcastle\, Australia\, in 2005. She completed her Basic Physicians Training and Advanced Training in Rheumatology in Western Australia. She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. \nShe is currently Head of Department Rheumatology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital where she is involved in clinical work and teaching. She consults privately at St John of God Murdoch Hospital and provides a regular rural service to Dunsborough in the south of Western Australia.
