Your gift today could help more kids like Tinesha feel understood, supported and less alone?
This October, over 60 kids like Tinesha will depend on Camp Freedom to feel understood, supported and less alone.
Can we please depend on you to help get them there by making a generous donation today?
For many kids like Tinesha, Camp Freedom has become their lifeline.
Held over five days, Camp Freedom is the only experience of its kind in WA for young people aged 7 to 17 with bone and joint disease.

“Camp Freedom is my home away from home. The family that truly gets me and understands.
If you’re sore or tired or having a hard day, nobody thinks you’re being dramatic or asks why you can’t just do something normally.
Before Camp Freedom it was kind of hard, because I’d feel lonely. Like people just didn’t understand.
Then you go to camp, and you’re so heard and seen. It’s honestly changed my life, made me a lot happier and a lot more confident.” Tinesha
Camp Freedom provides understanding, support and life-changing experiences & friendships to help face arthritis head on and live life to the full.
And while Camp Freedom is almost free to attend, the costs are considerable. Our onsite physios and registered nurses need feeding, transporting and accommodation too, just like our volunteers. The adventure activities that build these kids’ confidence don’t come cheap either.
While it’s almost free for families, we need to raise $2,142 per child to make it possible.
As you can imagine, every dollar counts.
A gift of any amount would be so appreciated.
Young people like Tinesha already miss out on so much. Western Australia’s only camp for kids with bone and joint disease shouldn’t be one of them.
Please give generously.
Thank you for your kindness.
