Camp Freedom 2026

Monday 28 September – Friday 2 October  |  Point Walter Recreation and Conference Centre

Overnight or day attendance options available. Registration: $150 per person.

Dedicated to children and teenagers (age 7-17 years) with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Joint Hypermobility and other related musculoskeletal conditions.

Camp provides participants with the opportunity to share experiences and bond with others in conditions similar to their own, while mastering activities that build self-esteem and self-confidence.

Activies include:

  • flying fox
  • mountain biking
  • disco
  • art and recreation activities.

Arthritis & Osteoporosis WA (AOWA) staff and volunteers supervise the children, who remain on-site for the duration of the camp. AOWA is committed to being a Child-Safe organisation, and all staff, volunteers, and health professionals attending the camp are subject to our strict screening processes, including Working with Children Checks and National Police Clearances.

Limited seats are available on a strictly first-come, first-served basis. Please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
