Exercise for Pain Management – Fridays 10:30am Shenton Park

Term 4: Mon 13th October – Wed 17th December 2025 (10 weeks)

Note: Exercise for Pain Management class runs from 24 Oct – 12 Dec. Registration fee is for 8 weeks.
Class Details:

The Pain Management Exercise Class is led by a qualified health professional with expertise in managing complex and persistent pain conditions. The program is designed to enhance physical function while providing participants with the tools to manage their pain more effectively through tailored exercise and guided relaxation. The focus is on building strength, flexibility, and functional movement to support improved quality of life.

Research shows that structured pain management programs incorporating exercise and relaxation can reduce pain intensity, improve mobility and strength, and ease the stress and fatigue often associated with chronic pain. By building on these approaches, this class helps participants to feel more confident, supported, and capable in managing their condition long-term.

This class is a continuation of the Pain Management Program (Exercise and Education). Participants must have completed the full program, or another similar Pain Management Program and have an individualised exercise plan in place. Sessions expand on these personalised programs, ensuring each participant can progress at their own pace while maintaining strategies for long-term self-management.
