Disability advocates are calling on the federal government to end age discrimination in the National Disability Insurance Scheme

Assistive Technology For All is a national campaign that COTA Victoria is spearheading. Through this campaign, we advocate for better access to life-changing assistive technology for people with disability excluded from the National Disability Insurance Scheme – most of whom are 65+.

Currently, nine out of ten Australians with a disability are not supported by the NDIS. As the Royal Commission recommended, it is time for a National Assistive Technology program and for people over 65 years with a disability to receive the same support as people in the NDIS.
