8-Week Hydro Block Period: Mon 26 August – Fri 18 October 2024

No session Mon 23 September due to Public Holiday. Registration fee is for 7 weeks.

Session Description:

Instructor Guided Open Pool – for independent participants who wish to do their individual Hydrotherapy program and can bring a program from their allied health professional. Alternatively, a qualified instructor will be available to guide participants and answer any questions regarding correct alignment and form. The supervising instructor can also offer exercise ideas for participants wanting to work on their balance and coordination.

External providers of exercise supervision are not permitted in AOWA’s hydrotherapy sessions.

Registration Details:

– This registration entitles you to attend 1 aqua session per week (with the exception of this class occurring on a public holiday).
– You may only attend the day and time allocated for this session. If you wish to attend more than one session per week, you will need to register for additional sessions throughout the week.
– Sessions are led by exercise instructors with a minimum Certificate III in Fitness/Group Exercise.

Venue: Hydrotherapy Pool, Wyllie Arthritis Centre, 17 Lemnos Street, Shenton Park.
Costs: Please see ticket details below to view session fees.
Class Times: You may only attend the day and time allocated for this session (once per week)

To successfully complete registration, you must:
– Answer 6 short health-related questions (numbered 1 – 6);
– Gain clearance from your GP/medical specialist PRIOR to participation in exercise if you have answered ‘Yes’ to one or more of the questions numbered 1 – 6.

Online registrations close at 4pm one business day before the start date of the new block (i.e. online bookings for Monday classes close 4pm Friday 23rd August)
