Tai Chi Classes

Flexibility, Mobility and Balance

About the Class

We are excited to offer Tai Chi for Arthritis, a program developed in 1997 by Dr. Paul Lam and a team of Tai Chi and medical experts. This gentle yet powerful practice is designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and balance while reducing pain and stiffness.

Through slow, controlled movements, deep breathing, and mindfulness, this class helps strengthen muscles, support joint health, and enhance overall well-being.

What to Expect

Each session includes:

Warm-Up & Breathing Exercises – Prepare your body and mind for practice.
Tai Chi Movements – Learn and refine movements that support joint health, improve balance, and enhance flexibility.
Mindfulness & Relaxation – Reduce stress, improve focus, and cultivate a sense of calm.

Course Levels

🔹 Beginner 1 – Ideal for those new to Tai Chi, focusing on basic movements, posture, balance, and relaxation techniques.

🔹 Beginner 2 – Builds on the foundations of Beginner 1, introducing movement sequences with greater fluidity and mindfulness.

🔹 Intermediate – Designed for those with some Tai Chi experience, refining movements and incorporating more complex sequences.

🔹 Advanced – For experienced participants comfortable with intricate movements and sequences, deepening their Tai Chi practice.
